Privacy Policy

This policy applies to CreatorCalc: Shoot Planner for iPhone and iPad, displayed as CreatorCalc on your device.

Effective date: September 21, 2026

CreatorCalc performs calculations and stores projects on your device. It does not require an account, transmit project content to a developer server, or include advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.

1. Information processed on your device

The app locally processes the information you enter: project names, calculator inputs, shot lists, equipment details, profiles, audio recording notes, saved results and language preferences. Calculation snapshots retain the entered values, result, formula and units.

Project records, local recovery copies and an edit journal are stored in the app's local storage. The developer does not automatically receive these records or your device identifiers. The app does not provide a developer-operated synchronization or backup server.

2. Exports, imports and device backups

Exports and imports occur when you choose them. You may export a project as PDF, CSV or JSON, or create an entire-workspace JSON backup. The system file picker and share sheet let you select a destination or source.

If you choose iCloud Drive, another cloud-storage service, a mail app or a sharing app, that service may receive the selected file under its own privacy policy. Such a transfer is controlled by your selection; it is not an upload to the CreatorCalc developer.

Apple's operating-system backup services may also back up app data according to your device settings. CreatorCalc does not control those services. Keep any exported or backed-up files in a location you trust.

3. Support messages you choose to send

If you email levinghost@outlook.com, the support mailbox receives your sender address, message and any attachments you choose to include. This information is used to respond to your request and investigate the issue you report.

The app opens your mail app only when you select the support email link; it does not automatically send a message or attach project data. The optional Copy feedback information action copies only the app version and operating system version. Review screenshots and project files before sharing them, and do not send passwords or payment details.

Support correspondence is kept only as needed to address support matters and meet applicable obligations. You can request deletion of correspondence using the support address below, subject to any required retention.

4. Purchases and third-party services

Apple processes the one-time App Store purchase and handles payment information under Apple's policies. CreatorCalc does not request your card details and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

The app uses Apple system frameworks for its interface, local storage, calculations and file handling. It does not use third-party advertising, analytics, authentication, AI or tracking services for its core functions. Reference citations identify calculation sources; they are not remotely fetched inputs for the calculators.

5. Your choices and deletion

• No app account is created, so there is no account profile to delete.
• You can delete individual projects in the app. Local recovery copies or a previous backup may still contain earlier data.
• Removing the app removes its local app storage under iOS/iPadOS behavior. Offloading an app may retain its documents and data.
• Exported files, operating-system backups and files held by a sharing provider must be managed separately in their respective locations.
• For information you voluntarily sent to support, contact the address below to ask about access, correction or deletion.

6. This website

These support and privacy pages contain no analytics scripts, advertising pixels or developer-set cookies. The website host may process normal request information, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the pages under its own policies. Visiting a support page is separate from using the offline app.

7. Policy updates and contact

This page will be updated if the app's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
